Development of a personal mission statement

The starting point for any business. Trainers are encouraged to consider why they have chosen this particular role in this particular industry. What personal qualities do they have, what drives them and what intrinsic goals do they hope to achieve.

Customer Care Cycle

Every successful business has a systemised way of taking care of that all important person, the customer. Trainers are taught the value of a systematic approach to taking care of the customer. In particular the effect it has on generating revenue in a time and energy efficient manner.

Communication styles

Once again, the most technically gifted of trainers is not always the most productive. We have to be able to communicate often extremely complicated terms in a manner which creates interest and understanding. The communication workshop aims to broaden the communication styles and abilities of trainers. Trainers are introduced to different behavioural types and how to communicate appropriately to get the best possible result.

Marketing

It’s no good being the world’s greatest trainer if no one knows you exist! Trainers are able to develop some simple marketing techniques which can get them recognised and generate interest in this value added club service. Tangible marketing products are developed at Head Office in Hanover Square and issued to trainers when they start work with Bodywize. The cost is included in the price of the Boot Camp.

Financial management

Now is the age of technology. Trainers are given a very simple software programme which tracks their income, name’s of clients and related session numbers completed. Income is calculated daily with targets to desired annual income clearly evident so they know where and when the work needs to be done. A great sales tool also!

Managing yourself

Trainers learn the value of self preservation in a potentially time and energy draining position. Not only to they learn the value, they also learn strategies to avoid becoming...Burnt toast!

Strategic planning

By failing to plan, we are planning to fail. Trainers are shown the importance of planning and budgeting. A simple template is issued and completed by each trainer which provides direction for the development of their business. ‘Buy In’ is high, as ownership is high.

Sales systems

There is a distinct process to follow from introduction, through needs analysis, goal clarification and setting, physical analysis, to the presentation of the personal training proposition. This is critical to long term success and this ensures good sales habits are instilled early on in the personal trainers career.

On-Going support

Bodywize issues every trainer with and Audio CD or a CD ROM containing information relevant to Business & Personal Development as well as vocational areas of nutrition, physical assessment and exercise prescription.
